If I take a count of how many times I've exclaimed about #AwesomeHandles this way, it'd take a while! What madness!

And with this edition being blogged, we'll dive straight into the voting session. For those of you who don't know what the voting session constitutes of, don't worry - I'll put up a separate blog post soon to give further details.

But for now, lemme give you a quick snapshot: the first voting session took place about 10 months ago. This session saw handles that were blogged in the from edition 1-10. The winners were announced on this blog post. This was followed up with five more editions being blogged. These new handles were then put up for voting during the second voting session and the results were announced here. The second session saw some whacky prizes sponsored by @panku_ and @TheHumerus - thanks again, guys! =)

Now, after this blog goes live, we'll begin voting on handles blogged in editions 16-20. There have been some interesting developments (read: prizes!) regarding #AwesomeHandles in the past few months. I'll go into details in my next blog post.

For now, let's not steal these 50 handles' thunder and give them the credit they're due!

Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 19.0

As I'd promised in the last post, here's the next edition of #AwesomeHandles. =)

One more edition to go before we kick off our voting session (read up here on previous voting session). This time's voting will be a little different from the previous times, but we'll get to that in due course. =)

To give you a quick background in a few words: #AwesomeHandles is a collection of creative, crazy, whacky and absolutely insane handles that're out there in the Twitverse. This is my little way of tipping my hat to the creativity of people behind these handles.

If you think your handle's pretty funky and but hasn't been featured in any of the previous editions so far, then you can gimme a shout and I'll add it to my ever growing list! You can drop in a comment below or you can lemme know on Twitter itself.

Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 18.0

I'm not even going to bother thinking up of reasons for not having blogged #AwesomeHandles editions for so long. So much shit's gone down in the past few months that I'd rather just apologise and move on. =)

Just to give you a bit of a background, I usually blog at least one edition of #AwesomeHandles per month. With the exception of the last few months, I've been pretty consistent. =) And because I'm lagging waaaaaaaaaay behind, what I'm going to do is blog the next three editions in over the next few days. Once the 20th edition is blogged, we'll have another round of voting for the Top 10 #AwesomeHandles 3.0!

If this is your first time on this blog and you have absolutely no idea what #AwesomeHandles is about, then you can take a quick look at some of the previous editions. Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 17.0

And we're back!

Been a while since I last blogged an #AwesomeHandles edition. If you follow these blogs then you clearly know why. And if you don't then, well, first of all - BLASPHEMY!

Second of all, Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 16.0 was blogged by our very own @TheHumerus. Who, by the way, is a part of #TeamAwesomeHandles along with @panku_ and yours truly.

So yeah, long story short - it's been a while since I last blogged here and you wouldn't believe the numbers I've accumulated in the meantime. What numbers, you ask? Why, the number of #AwesomeHandles on my master list, of course!

As I blog this, I am already putting together the list that will be blogged in the 25th edition. Yep, 25th! And that total count of handles on my master list as of right now stands at 1359. #LikeABoss

I feel like I should throw on a pair of over-sized pseudo-celebrity type sunglasses right about now.

Point, Swati, point - get to the damn point! *breathes in* Due to the reason stated above [I'm still gloating, by the way], I shall hurry up with the blog posts given that I'm almost 10 posts behind. One a week, shall we say? No promises, but serious effort to get an edition on here each week.

Hello everybody! As a very merry Christmas (and the beginning of a new year where the world will not end hopefully) approaches us, it's time for edition 16 of #AwesomeHandles! But some basic answers to some basic questions first.

Who am I?

I'm known in the Twitterverse as @TheHumerus, and I like tweeting because I think I like tweeting (well, #ok).

What am I doing here?

I am a self-appointed #AwesomeHandle tracker, helping out @silv3rglee (the orginator of this awesome concept and an awesome tweep herself) create the lists you see on this blog. And of course, there are awesome tweeps like @panku_ (who, by the way, helped a lot in bringing together this list too!) and a whole lot of others (#teamawesomehandles, as we proudly like to call ourselves :D) who are also part of this endeavour. But that's not 'exactly' why I am here. You see, @silv3rglee is busy creating awesome ideas in the world of buying and selling. In other words, she is busy with her exams in her MBA. Also, after pulling off the Top Ten #AwesomeHandles, she deserves a break anyway, no? Hence, I will be filling in for her in this and the next three editions of #AwesomeHandles :) Being the sweetheart that she is, she has let me fulfill my dream of being a guest blogger! (oh yeah I know that's a sophisticated term for a replacement :P).

The votes are finally in. Yes, all 13,368 of them.

Nope, that's not a typo. I meant to type 13,368. And I thought last time's 6937 votes were overwhelming. Little did I know that this time around the votes would bazinga the living daylights outta last time's votes!

Votes? #AwesomeHandles? Hain?! Don't get your knickers in a knot, puttar. Read up here and you'll know what this post's about.

The deadline to get your votes in was midnight [UK time] last night.

I'm still kicking myself over such a ridiculous deadline. I mean, why couldn't I have said 8pm or 3pm when I'd've been wide awake? Noooooooo, miss smarty-pants had to say midnight so she could set an alarm to wake up, take a screen shot of the votes and go right back to sleep. Genius, I tell you.

Anywhooooooo...I shall, just this once, let bygones be bygones.

He's got cheeks you wanna pull and he's got a head you wanna run your palm over. He cooks, clicks and heavens knows what else this adorably-huggable Bangalorean does!

I felt really bad when I saw tweets on my TL claiming to have vote for her. I felt bad because these tweets came in much after I'd closed voting. And then I saw the results. Dayum, she still made it to the top 5! =)

Rather serene DP for someone who's got such a whacky handle is what I'd say about him. And more so since he associates himself with whacky, tacky and fun T-shirt - TShouts!
I'd say that's prolly why he ended with this tie. =P

Who doesn't enjoy a crisp, hot jalebi? Especially in this weather! Dare I say that might've influenced the votes in her favour? I mean, it is winter...and garam jalebi is the need of the hour!

Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 15.0

Another edition and another expression of surprise: daaaayum!

Also, bravo!

Your handles are getting whackier and funnier and I'm sorta struggling to keep track of them. I kid you not.

Let me put things in perspective for you. This being the 15th edition of #AwesomeHandles, typically I'd be a little ahead of myself and probably be almost done with the 16th edition, right? That's what one would expect.

Now, the list at the end of this edition takes the total count up to 900 #AwesomeHandles blogged thus far. I'm sure y'all appreciate what a massive number that is!

However...yep, there's a 'however'...at this stage, I'm already compiling not the 16th, not even the 17th, but the 19th edition! And as we speak, the total number of handles on my master sheet is up to a whooping 1068.

Numbers might now mean a lot to you, but dude, COME ON! That's just a whole new level of woooooooah for me. That's an awful lotta handles to keep track of.

I should know!

Which kinda brings me to my next point: polling.

I'm not gonna get into this in detail at the moment. There'll be a separate blog post giving details of, and hosting the poll itself. This should be up very soon. But I will tell you this: the last #AwesomeHandles poll consisted of handles that were blogged in editions 1-10; the poll that I'll put up soon will ask you to vote on handles that have been blogged from the 11th edition onwards.

Like I said, more details coming up in the next blog post. So if you've been featured in Twits and their #AwesomeHandles 11.0, 12.0, 13.0, 14.0 or this one, then your handle will be up for voting. Keep an eye out for it. =P

The not-so-clear version of #AwesomeHandles is that I have OCD.

Once I start something, I kinda go with it till...well, till I can. =/

#AwesomeHandles, essentially, is a collection of innovative, creative, funny and ingenious handles that I come across on Twitter. These handles are most often suggested or recommended to me by random, but awesome tweeps.

Having said that, a lot of them and I mean a lot of them are suggested by a very special guy: the fantabulously-awesome @TheHumerus. Just so you know, he's an amazing guy, a great photographer (so ladies, he'll always make you look gorgeous), funny, smart and (to my knowledge) available! Go on then, follow him already!

Also, special thanks going out to @LaundhiGaga and @holy_photon for their suggestions that made it to this list. Y'all are fantabulous! =*

The 14th edition is out, ladies and gentlemen!

As it happens, Twits (yes yes yes, I know it's 'tweeps') are getting more and more creative. Either that or more people are now aware of #AwesomeHandles than were a year ago. =)

That could be it. What with @TheHumerus propogating it this earnestly, it's hard for word not to spread. And how it's spread, I tell you! If I'm honest with you, even as I blog this 14th edition, I'm in the process of compiling the 17th edition. That's right - I've already got the 15th and 16th edition handles ready and set to get blogged!

Bleddy hell, I tell you. This one's gone beyond what I'd thought it would. =)
